The Brockley Anarchist Reading Club are continuing Silvia Federici’s Caliban and the Witch — a radical history of how the birth of capitalism was built on enclosure, witch hunts, and the persecution of women.

Federici shows how the witch hunts were not superstition, but a deliberate strategy to break resistance and reshape society.
